Colorful Bath Bomb: Elevate your loved one’s self care routine with a beautiful homemade bath bomb. Add baking soda, corn starch, citric acid and Epsom salt in a medium-sized bowl and stir until combined. In a separate bowl, add the water, your partner’s favorite essential oils, coconut oil and food coloring and stir until combined. Mix together the ingredients from each bowl a little at a time – stirring between pours. Once the mixture has the consistency of wet sand, pack it into a clear bulb ornament and let it sit for a day. In the morning, remove the outer bulb and your bath bomb is ready to gift!  

Relaxing Bath Salts: For those that aren’t quite so crafty but want to gift their loved one with elevated relaxation and wellness this holiday, bath salts are a great alternative to bath bombs! Simply Mix Epsom salt, sea salt, baking soda and essential oils and place them in a pretty jar. For an elevated gift – add dried flower petals!  

Homemade Love Note: Choose a festively colored piece of construction paper and write a heartfelt note to your loved one. Fold the note in half and use glue to draw a heart on the front flap. Mix together a drop or two of red food coloring and a bowl of Epsom salt until the salts take on a reddish hue. Take a glass jar and cover the outside in Mod Podge. Roll the jar in the salts and allow to dry. Place a flameless tea light candle in each jar and enjoy your dinner in the moody glow!
