DIY Epsom salt suncatcher for kids

Materials:

  • Spoon
  • Measuring cup
  • Epsom salt
  • Microwaveable dish
  • Clear, plastic lid
  • String

Directions:

  1. Heat ¼ cup of water in the microwave for 30 seconds. Then, add in ¼ cup of Epsom salt and stir until the salt crystals have dissolved.
  2. Pour the mixture onto the plastic lid (just enough to cover the bottom) and then let it sit by a window overnight to dry.
  3. When completely dry, the lid should be covered in Epsom salt crystals! Cut a small hole near the edge of the plastic lid and tie string through the hole so you can hang in the window.
